Before installing the submersible transfer pump in the basement water cistern, if the cable is not long enough, it needs to be extended to reach the electromagnetic switch in the control panel on the ground. The method for extending the cable, as shown in the diagram, must ensure that the connection is well-sealed to prevent water from entering the cable and damaging the submersible pump.
